Our process may have a rough structure, but we always tailor it to fit the specific needs and goals of each client. After all, every client is one-of-a-kind, and that's what makes our work exciting and rewarding.
1. Preparation
Before we start designing your website, we want to make sure we understand your brand's identity and communication style. We'll have a detailed conversation to get to know your goals, target audience, and what you want to achieve with the website. We'll also discuss any visual references you may have and decide if we have all the necessary assets or if we need to source and license any visuals or edit texts. After evaluating the scope of work, we'll fix a timeline and a budget. Once everything is organized, we'll kick off the project.
2. Concept
In the Concept stage, we develop a conceptual vision for the website that is based on three fundamental pillars. These pillars are what your brand already is (with assets), what we strive to build (similar to the references), and our own vision for how to communicate it with your target audiences. We'll present drafts for the key pages as one proposal, and you'll have the opportunity to provide feedback. After we're happy with the concept, we'll fine-tune the content to tailor-fit it to the vision. Once the content is fully ready, and the concept is approved, we can proceed to the main build.
3. Main Build
We design and develop every page on the website, refine the design, and make it 95% ready. We get together for a second revision, this time focusing on the details and customizations of the website. When we collect your final feedback, we are ready to polish every detail and develop custom code to achieve the ultimate polish.
4. Launch and Support
Once we're confident that the website is ready, we'll do a staged launch. This involves preparing the backend, getting subscriptions, adding SEO descriptions, testing, and making it accessible online with a password. After the testing and proofing of the website, we'll connect the domain and make it public. We'll also provide a personal demo on managing the website and keep in touch for 2 more weeks, checking that everything works as intended.
