Wibes and WASR collaborate on traditional African fabrics
Wibes and WeAllShareRoots (WASR) join their love of fabrics, ethics and Africa to offer a limited edition pack: a pair of Wibes sneakers and a pouch made with traditional shweshwe fabric and eco leather.
Packs are limited to 35 pairs and clutches.
Wibes sneakers were showcases at the Parisian shop La Garçonnière on “Hemisphere Sud” event, together with 20 other brands from the Southern hemisphere: Africa and South America.
Wibes sneakers from Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, are made by combining craftsmanship and quality materials in a factory in Portugal. Each pair of WIBES shoes is unique.
WeAllShareRoots bags are all hand-made in the Cape Town region of South Africa, in partnership with women from townships, small businesses and a network of craftsmen.
La Garçonnière is a French concept store that curates independent brands, works with gastronomy and hairdressing.
