Honey & Co, London went to Los Angeles to take over Sqirl and launch the latest cookbook
Honey & Co is a middle eastern restaurant from the UK. Award-winning chefs Sarit and Itamar has opened three locations in London after the first start in 2012. Now they are expanding into books business after the success of their first cookbooks from 2015.
For the launch of their third book “Honey & Co: At Home – Middle Eastern recipes from our kitchen” they took over Sqirl restaurant in Los Angeles. Sarit and Itamar were having a conversation with a writer and educator Julie Wolfson, and afterwards, were signing books.
During the day Sqirl served five pastries from the cookbook: Date honey macadamia loaf, Fennel crackers, Tahini cake, Chocolate financiers, and Marnuchinos. In the evening the restaurant cooked one dish: Aubergine and Weiser Potato with charred onion and green tahini. At night, from 11 pm to 4 am: Steak Fattoush, Grilled Galacier salad & Matbucha.
